Addis Coffee sells coffee beans from three regions of Ethiopia; Sidamo, Limu and Guji. Beans from Guji undergo a 'natural unwashed' process meaning the beans are dried in the sun for a few weeks after picking and sorting before being de-fruited. This helps to develop richness, extra body and a fruitier taste characteristic of Ethiopian coffee. The Sidamo and Limu coffees are treated according to the 'washed' process. Immediately after picking, the coffee berry is de-fruited, washed and then dried. The taste of a washed coffee is generally stable, balanced and 'clean'. We roast the coffee beans in small quantities every week at a coffee roaster in Amsterdam North. At Addis coffee, it is possible to have your coffee delivered weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.
